Job-Market Reports & Archives
We publish what our tracking actually saw: ghost-job share, recycled postings, listing durations, board split and score distributions — an observed sample of the postings we track, never an estimate of the whole market. During our first 6 months the current report refreshes daily from the 02:30 UTC compile so you can watch change as data compiles; after that it refreshes monthly. Every period is archived permanently — each daily snapshot, weekly rollup, monthly report and yearly rollup keeps its own public page forever, labeled with the date its data was compiled.
What these reports are
- Every figure counts only what we observed: N postings we track since a date. We never say "X% of all jobs".
- We track Greenhouse, Ashby and Lever boards plus company career pages. LinkedIn and Indeed restrict automated access and are not tracked, and Workable careers pages expose no parseable public board for automated readers (verified 2026-08-15) — so our coverage is an observed sample, not the whole job market.
- Companies appear only as a count. Everything we track per company is public on its company page — there's no separate private company product right now.
- Each archived page carries a "data as of" label. Archive URLs never change: /reports/YYYY-MM-DD (daily), /reports/YYYY-Www (weekly), /reports/YYYY-MM (monthly report), /reports/YYYY (yearly).
- Trend views at day/week/month/year granularity honestly report n/a until they have enough history (day needs 2+ days, week 2+ weeks, month 2+ months, year 2+ years) — a direction is never invented.
Missing days in the daily archive — we label them, we don't fill them
- no snapshot — daily compile outage 2026-08-22 → 2026-09-17, compile resumed 2026-09-18 (27 days of daily compiles missing)
On those days the daily compile did not run, so there is no snapshot for them and none is invented afterwards: a posting carries only its current state, so a missed day cannot be reconstructed honestly. Trend rows whose two dates straddle a gap compare those two dates directly — that is the change across the whole stretch, not a one-day change — and every archived period we do have below is exactly what was compiled on its own date.
